Childrens’ Birthday Parties

We are happy to host children's birthday parties at the railway. We will reserve our lower field for you and you can bring along gazebos, tables and chairs and hire bouncy castles!

At 1.00pm, we will have a double-length train ready for you, with two steam engines on the front. It will hold approximately 24 passengers (depending on size - the passengers, not the train!). If you have more than that number of guests, we will provide an additional train. The ride travels over our extra-long Gladesman route and lasts about 25 - 30 minutes. You are then free to continue your celebrations in the field until we close at 5.00pm.

The cost for the ride and use of the field is £8.00 per passenger carried. Non-passengers get in free!!

Tours

If you are a member of a Club or Society and would like to arrange a visit, please let us know. We can offer you a tour of the signal boxes, engine shed and workshop followed by a Gladesman ride. The cost is £10 per person for the tour and ride. If you would like to add tea/coffee and a snack from our tea room, this can be arranged at extra cost depending on your requirements. Grown-up Celebrations

Looking for an unusual venue for your Company family day,wedding reception or anniversary or special birthday party? Well, look no further! You can hire the entire railway for the day.  We will open  the gates the day before to allow marquees to be delivered and assembled then, on  the great day itself, we will operate the railway for your guests and yourself until you say STOP!  To discuss your requirements and check availability, just email bookings@cockcrow.co.uk
