The railway is open from 1 pm to 4:30 pm every Sunday throughout the Summer (May to October). The Ticket Office is open until 4:15 pm.

If the weather is bad (heavy or persistent rain), we may be closed. On these occasions, it's worth checking with us before setting off by calling 01932 565474.

We also have some special opening days; such as the September gala and our spooky Halloween evening on the last Saturday of October. 

We have a range of ticket types to suit your needs. You can buy tickets for single journeys or, if you would like to try both routes, you can buy a double ticket. Please note that you will need to queue again for the second ride.

In addition, you can purchase family-of-four tickets (two adults and two children or one adult and three children) for single or double rides. Double and family tickets always work out cheaper than buying single tickets.

Child fares apply to children aged between 2 and 16. Please see the FAQs page for further information about travel restrictions and concessions.

The Ticket Office is located at the right-hand end of the Station Building, next to the large signal post. We can accept cash, most credit cards, debit cards, contactless payment and Apple Pay.
